Since 1971, the Inverness Festival of the Arts has stood as one of Central Florida’s premier juried art shows, recognized for its dedication to showcasing artistic excellence and creativity.
This year, the festival expands to include fine crafts alongside fine arts, offering a broader and more dynamic experience for visitors. The event will feature a diverse selection of talented artists and craftspeople from across the country.

At the Valerie Theatre: Embrace Artful Being
As part of the 2025 Inverness Festival of the Arts, the Valerie Theatre will be transformed into a place where all ages can imagine, create, and explore. On November 15–16, experience Artful Being - a site-specific installation created by artist Heather Hagar in collaboration with the School of Dance Arts.
While visiting, be sure to view the Character Animations from the talented students of Lecanto High School – School of the Arts, highlighting the creativity and innovation of young local artists.
This special installation at the Valerie Theatre is free and open to the public -no ticket required. Step inside and experience a one-of-a-kind artistic journey in the heart of Downtown Inverness.
