How to Get Involved

If you are interested in volunteering, complete the  Volunteer Program Application and print or pick up a copy at the Parks, Recreation, Events, and Cultural Arts department located inside of City Hall at 212 W. Main Street, Inverness, FL 34450.  Please return the completed application with a required photocopy of License or State ID.

Some friendly reminders

Scheduling: If you find yourself unable to fulfill your commitment, please promptly inform the Parks department. This allows us to fill your position efficiently.

Attire: Dress comfortably, taking into account the weather conditions. For certain events, you may receive a volunteer shirt. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for safety.

Parking: All volunteers are requested to park in the municipal parking lots located at the corner of Pine Ave and Dampier St in downtown.
