A Kick-Off gathering begins at 9:00 am at the historic Valerie Theatre, 207 Courthouse Square. A map of the City areas in need of attention will be available in the City Hall lobby. In addition to Clean-Up Day, the City, along with the Rotary Club of Inverness and all volunteers, will hold a storm drain marking event. This will involve placing informational markers atop of storm drain inlets to educate the public on the importance of storm-water monitoring and that the storm drains discharge into our surface waters, lakes and aquifer.
