Festival of the Arts Scholarship Program
Help Keep Their Dreams Alive.........

As in previous years, the 39th Annual Festival of the Arts will be held in Courthouse Square. Historically speaking, this Festival of the Arts is the longest running juried art show in Citrus County and is produced each year as a community service and a means to promote the arts.

Look for some exciting changes at this year's show. The work of our talented Citrus County area school art students will be featured in a fascinating and fun area to be known as the "School Zone"......A "must see" for the 2010 festival.

Many of these very special students have the same special dream, to continue using their talent, imagination, and hard work to enrich their lives and the lives of everyone who appreciates visual art.

To put it simply, they have a definite desire for higher education to help achieve their dream.

While the Florida state budget is cutting funding for the arts -- the Festival of the Arts Committee will be awarding one or more scholarships to deserving area students wishing to follow their dream of a higher education in the arts by asking for donations of at least $5.00 or more in exchange for a fine, hand-crafted pewter label pin representative of the 1912 Historic County Courthouse in Inverness. To view an image of the pin click here. (Coming soon)

For additional information on how you can purchase the pin or pendant and support the scholarship program, call (352) 726-3913 or (352) 382-2191.
