  1. Valerie Theatre Movie-The Legend of Kate Kensington

    April 30, 1:00 PM @ Valerie Theatre

    A Feature Film written and directed by local artist, Brad Castillo. Shot in and around Citrus County, it is a true story of a local young woman, Kate Kensington, who suffered a severe case of depression due to the loss of her fiancé at Pearl Harbor. Though placed in a mental asylum for treatment, Kate continues to slip further into depression. On October 31, 1942 Kate is last seen wearing her wedding dress and walking into the woods behind the Kensington Estate. A massive search was conducted but nothing was found. Still remaining a mystery, there are sightings of Kate at the estate and inside Hills of Rest Cemetery. Tickets available at the box office Thursday-Saturday, Noon to 4pm and online.
